In 2018, I travelled to India with a friend and met Vinesh, our private driver. We got on really well, and he told me about his goal to grow his business so he could better support his family. I wanted to help, so I designed a website for him using WordPress and Oxygen Builder.
Tour services in India are extremely competitive, especially for independent drivers who don’t have big marketing budgets. Because we had no resources to work with, I relied on free assets like Unsplash photography and focused on clean UI/UX, clarity, and SEO. The result was a simple but professional website that helped Vinesh stand out and build trust with potential clients.
The site now ranks on the first page of Google for searches like “private driver India,” and its strong engagement shows that visitors spend time on the site and browse multiple pages. More importantly, it’s brought real business his way. Since launch, Vinesh has gained a steady flow of new customers and was genuinely happy with how the site looked and what it achieved for him.
